Birth Doula Services

The birth of your baby will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. I would be honored to support you in making it the beautiful and positive event that you, your partner and your baby deserve.

First, we can meet at the place of your choosing to see if we are a good match (this is a free consultation).  If you choose me to be your birth doula, I will:

* meet with you two times prenatally at your home to discuss your ideal labor and birth, create a birth plan, review comfort measures, answer questions, etc.

* support you physically, emotionally and mentally from the time you call me during labor until at least an hour after your baby is born

* meet with you one time at your home after the baby is born to see how you're doing, discuss the birth, answer any questions and, of course, to hold your baby!

I will be on call from two weeks before your due date until you go into labor and will offer support by phone or email during the postpartum period at any time. 

I am happy to assist you wherever you choose to birth whether it's at the hospital, birth center or at home.  I serve women in Boulder County and some surrounding areas.  If you're not sure about your city or town, please ask.

Pricing

My full fee is $1,222.  I offer a sliding scale and can accommodate some barters as well.  Please do not let money be a factor in having a doula or not!  You deserve one and we can work something out.  

Doula "gift certificates" make great baby shower gifts, too!
